Founder of Food Capsule - Lisa Johnson is a Certified Dietitian and a Functional Medicine Nutritionist. Her unique combination of holistic and clinical experience ties an alternative approach to modern nutrition coaching. Lisa has been providing nutritional counseling for more than eight years now, and has helped her clients with meal planning, weight concerns, eating disorders, digestive issues, sports nutrition, medical conditions, and to make positive lifelong eating and exercise behavioral changes.
Lisa brings a wealth of experience to Food Capsule, having previously worked as the Head of Gut Health Department at Raashi Chowdhary, Dietitian at Qua Nutrition – Signature Nutrition Clinic in Bangalore, and at Nomura Holdings in Mumbai. She also served as a Nutritionist Researcher at Plan My Food, where she honed her skills in nutrition science. With her diverse background, Lisa is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized nutrition solutions.
With an impressive academic background, she holds a Master’s degree in Foods, Nutrition, and Dietetics from the College of Home Science, Nirmala Niketan, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College in Mumbai. Her expertise is further complemented by an Advanced Diploma in Food Science & Quality Control and Food Microbiology. Additionally, she is trained as an Internal Auditor in Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (Dutch-HACCP) and possesses strong knowledge in Research Methods & Statistics.
Lisa believes in investing in early childhood nutrition as a sure-fire strategy, which would have incredible returns in the future. She is proactive towards spreading awareness about better health and deeply feels that knowledge of eating right and working out is the core foundation principle at Food Capsule.
